"Finding a new use for the land will be a priority"
Rev. John Sloop       First Presbyterian Church of Harrisonburg         26 March 2007

Do you think these families would have buried their loved ones here if they knew this was coming?

Do you think Moses Wenger would have donated his land for a church and cemetery if he knew?

Do you think U. S. Navy Surgeon Lucien Heneberger would have donated the Mabel Memorial Chapel named in honor of his wife if he knew ?

Do you think Dr. Heneberger would have left a fortune in trust with First Presbyterian Church of Harrisonburg for the perpetual care of Mabel Memorial Chapel if he even thought this might happen?
